Time Management and Pacing

Starting a novel and keeping the pace of writing until the end isn't a very easy job. You may get distracted at times while writing your novel. Keep your plot known by referring to the main idea and stick to it until you fully develop the novel. There will be occasions when you might get influenced by additional themes and while this will add depth to your novel, make sure you don't get carried away from the main theme. This can be kept strictly in check if you properly plan how to write your novel. Graphical outlining will help you to keep the pace and will surely prevent your imagination wandering from your main theme and ideas.

Ending

"The End‚" is the magic phrase of every book, novel, etc. Writing a novel from start to end involves large amount of words. It may range from 90,000 to 1, 500,000 words, as novels are lengthy. You can't sit down in one day and complete your novel from start to finish. The climax is the major part of writing a novel. You are, by this time, well aware of the complete cycle of the plot and it is the climax of your novel that takes your ability, to bridge the gap between the beginning and end of the novel, for a ride. Some of the writers do the clever trick of writing the end first and then filling up the middle with all the stuff they'd already used. don't do this.
