Here's how to make your own characters well.

Think of the basics first. Is your character (let's call him Bob) a human or animal?

How does Bob get about? Can he fly? Or breathe underwater?

Draw a basic figure. It's best to do a stick figure first, in the posture of Bob (i.e crouching, standing e.t.c), then add shape.

Add all your made-up features. Wings are popular.

Give Bob a name.

Give him a character.

That's it! It's that simple!

Tips

  • Make up stories involving Bob.
  • Make a 3D model of him out of paper mache or clay.

Warnings

  • Be as creative as you can about your character, and try not to make him/her look like a piece of cardboard.
